Intro
Patricia Moriarty is an Education and Technology Curriculum Integration Specialist with 14 years of experience as a middle school educator. With her adaptive nature, she has made strong contributions in the areas of special education, math, language arts, social studies, and technology. Patricia is recognized for innovating and building programs from scratch and pioneering the use of technology in education. She was selected from 2700 applicants nationwide to be one of the 53 state representatives participating in NASA's prestigious Classroom of the Future Program. Her unique value is her ability to identify needs and team with diverse stakeholders-teachers, students, parents, administrators, school board, community, and committee members to influence positive change. The keys to Patricia's effectiveness are her true passion for education; her drive to ascertain the rationale for practices and pedagogy; and her desire to act as a guide for students to facilitate self discovery. Whether it is through staff development, training, teaching, learning, or evaluating, Patricia firmly believes that education is the essential ingredient to personal empowerment, growth, and ultimately, success.
